Day by day
- Day 1Arba Minch to Jinka via the Key Afer market, with Ari village stops en route.
- Day 2Into Mago National Park at dawn to visit Mursi villages; afternoon at the Jinka museum.
- Day 3Jinka to Turmi. Dimeka market day, evening visit to a Hamar homestead.
- Day 4Turmi to Omorate — cross the Omo river to Dassanech country, sunset back in Hamar lands.
- Day 5Korcho: Karo villages perched above the great bend of the Omo. Bull-jumping if a ceremony is called.
- Day 6Slow morning with a coffee ceremony, then the road north through Konso country.
- Day 7Konso to Arba Minch, farewell dinner overlooking Lake Chamo.
